Warnings Against Denying Christ

The Apostle John in 1 John was addressing the false teachings of Gnosticism that emerged out of a mix of Greek philosophy, Jewish teachings, and early Christian beliefs. Christians were getting caught up in their desire to experience greater spiritual insights – but it was the wrong spirit.
Once again Christians are being deceived with popular teachings that distort God’s word. Two popular movements appealing to 20 and 30 years old are Progressive Christianity and Deconstructionism.
Social media is the vehicle that is undermining the Christians faith in the authority of the Bible, the Deity of Jesus, the existence Hell, and there will be a day that all will stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ.
